FIB Academy: a strategic tool to strengthen expertise

To meet the needs of a constantly evolving market and ensure smooth communication within its sales teams, FIB GROUP has created FIB Academy.

This structured program, initiated by Erdinç Sezgin, Technical Director of FIB GROUP, aims to keep sales representatives and agents up to date on equipment, innovations, and market trends. Beyond technical presentations, FIB Academy also fosters interaction among participants. “Each session gives them the opportunity to share customer experiences and discuss specific challenges,” says René Branders, CEO. “This collaboration not only strengthens team cohesion but also enhances individual expertise.

Objective: high-performing teams

In a technical industry where precise terminology and a deep understanding of solutions are essential, FIB Academy serves as a platform for learning and exchange. It has two key goals. First, standardizing knowledge. “Whether sales representatives are seasoned experts or newcomers to the field, they must share a common understanding of FIB’s equipment and processes.” Next, strengthening skills. Each session covers specific technical topics such as patenting, annealing, galvanizing, and hybridization.

A program adapted to an international environment

With teams spread across the globe, FIB Academy has been designed to overcome geographical constraints. “Sessions are conducted via Teams, allowing for flexible participation across time zones,” explains the Technical Director. “We have created two groups to optimize discussions based on regional needs.” Sessions take place every two to three months. The first two sessions covered the fundamentals of FIB GROUP’s equipment. The third session, scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, will focus on E-solutions and induction.

At the end of each session, participants receive a detailed report summarizing key information, along with materials they can use in client interactions. FIB Academy is more than just a knowledge-sharing initiative-it serves a strategic purpose by maintaining regular contact with sales representatives, who are often geographically dispersed. It ensures open and continuous communication. “With FIB Academy, every representative becomes an expert ambassador of FIB solutions, ready to meet customer needs,” concludes the Technical Director.
